I’ve always had a very defined sense of style—I know what I like, and I know what works for my wardrobe. While I’ve always admired the creativity and vibrancy of traditional crochet, I struggled to find pieces that fit my own minimalist aesthetic. Most of what I saw was beautifully bright and intricate, but it didn't quite translate to the clean, structured look I gravitate toward every day.

I learned to crochet because I wanted to see if I could bring a sense of "simplicity" to the craft. I wanted to take that handmade soul and apply it to a basic, monochrome palette. By working exclusively in black and off-white, I’ve created bags that don't demand to be the center of attention—they are designed to complement your style, not compete with it.
Solène is for the person who loves the tactile feel of a handmade piece but needs it to be as versatile as a leather staple. It’s about bringing that "boldly quiet" energy to a traditional art form.

To me, packing your bag is a ritual, and I wanted to make that ritual feel personal. Every Solène bag is hand-crocheted by me using recycled t-shirt yarn. This material allows me to create the structure and durability I was looking for, ensuring that your bag is sustainable, functional, and built to be a permanent part of your daily rhythm.
